- committed to Safe Ministry with Children
- Committed to developing BREAKFAST CHURCH as a fresh expression of worship for families in our community.
We support Chaplaincy at our local primary school
- raising community awareness of school chaplaincy
- fundraising through events
- participating in the local chaplaincy committee
- attending school functions
- involving the children in special projects
We care for our neighbours:
- sharing the Peace Garden – a place of calm and respite
- caring for and watering the Peace Garden
- inviting neighbours to special events
- Long Table Sunday Lunches
- prayer request box available and used by many
- offer hope and love to local families
- remembering neighbours at special times
We participate in neighbourhood life:
- Hamilton Neighbourhood Hub
- Host an annual Community Christmas Celebration
- Supporting local business – eg: holding planning meetings in local coffee shops and the school library
- North Brisbane Ecumenical Committee and events
- World Day of Prayer (hosts in 2022)
- Pinking up our garden for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
