God’s love is for everyone.
The Uniting Church rejoices in diversity of races, cultures and languages as God’s gracious gift to the human family. Multicultural and cross cultural ministry.
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus”. [Galations 3:28]
We at St Luke’s acknowledge that we gather on the land of the Turrbal and Jagera people. We pay respect to their tribal Elders, honour their continuing culture, and pray that in the power of God’s Spirit we might all work together for reconciliation and justice in this nation.
Together with Qld Synod and Moreton Rivers Presbytery, St Luke’s Congregation and Church Council support the Queensland Community Alliance, where community groups, faith groups, ethnic groups, and unions come together for common good: based on shared values to improve life and outcomes for Queensland citizens. https://www.qldcommunityalliance.org/
